People have always trained their dogs to be able to detect many things through smell, for example diseases such as cancer or any other.

Now we have discovered that dogs are capable of detecting the coronavirus, did you know?

Dogs are able to deduce this due to the great capacity of olfate receptors that they possess. Many smells are analyzed in your brain, since the capacity of your brain is forty times greater than the human brain. They rely on smelling the saliva of infected and uninfected people, and for some reason they detect an odor in infected people. When dogs detect a sick person, they should be rewarded for their work and to let them know that they are doing well.

That dogs are able to do this seems very useful to me, since we could take advantage of them to smell people at airports, to detect infected people and have even more security. This would also be an effective control method and much faster than temperature or prc tests.

In my opinion, dogs are much more intelligent than us, since they have other more developed senses. They can help us and facilitate the prevention of coronavirus.
